Marubeni has been selected for continued inclusion as a constituent of the “FTSE Blossom Japan Index” and the “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index*” (hereinafter, the “Indexes”).

 

The Indexes are global ESG investment indices developed by FTSE Russell, a member of the London Stock Exchange Group, and its constituents are Japanese companies that have implemented outstanding ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives. The Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), one of the world's largest public pension funds, has also adopted the Indexes as passively managed indices for ESG investment, and it is used by investors around the world as an important criterion for investment decisions.
