Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni”) has been selected by the Carbon Disclosure Project (hereinafter, the “CDP*”), an international environmental non-profit organization, for its highest rating of an A list company as part of their Water Security program, thereby achieving certification as a leading company in corporate sustainability on February 6, 2024. This designation as an A list company in the Water Security program is the third consecutive year since 2021, and recognizes with Marubeni among 36 Japanese companies thus certified.

Marubeni has also been selected for A- grades, the second highest rating, in the categories of Climate Change and Forests, the other two of the three domains for which the CDP conducts evaluations.

Marubeni will continue to expand the scope of its environmental disclosures and achieve sustainable growth leveraging the CDP platform.
