Marubeni Corporation (hereanfter, “Marubeni”) has decided to join the Battery Association for Supply Chain ("BASC", Chairman: Isao Abe, Executive Officer at Sumitomo Metal Mining Co.) as a supporting member.
BASC was established on April 1, 2021 with the goal of achieving a carbon-free society, and will try to establish an international standard for a battery supply chain system.

Marubeni will contribute to improving the sustainability of global society through joining BASC.
