In February 2021, Total Engine Asset Management Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter, “TEAM”), a joint engine leasing venture owned half by Marubeni and and half by ST Engineering Aerospace Ltd. in Singapore, received IFR Awards 2020 for Asia-Pacific Structured Finance organized by International Financing Review.

TEAM priced its secured bond issuance backed by a portfolio of aircraft engines in February 2020 and closed the transaction in March 2020. The award recognized TEAM’s achievements as the first aircraft engine securitization transaction originated by a lessor headquartered in the Asia Pacific region.

Marubeni will seek to expand and evolve its business portfolio in the aircraft and aircraft engine leasing fields through supporting management and operations and will try to provide solutions for the continuous long-term demand for air transportation―something that is essential for global economic growth in the future.
