Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni”) and Mitsubishi Estate Residence Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Mitsubishi Estate Residence”) are pleased to announce new real estate development projects in Changchun, Jilin Province, China. “Weifengdongyu II” project (approx. 1,400 units) and “Weifengchuxiao” project (approx. 2,100 units) (hereinafter, “the Projects”) are primarily residential real estate development projects, operated through a joint venture company.

The projects are the third and fourth projects in Changchun following the “Weifengdongyue (1,104 units)” project, which was the first real estate project by Japanese companies (Marubeni, Mitsubishi Estate Residence and Jilin Weifeng Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Weifeng”)) in Changchun, commenced in 2012, and the  “Weifengdongyu (936units)” project which was executed in 2016.

The “Weifengdongyu II” project, located next to the “Weifengdongyu” project, is in the Jingyue district which is highly regarded as a quiet residential area. Many customers hope that this area will be targeted for a continuation of the “Weifengdongyu” project. The Erdao district, where the “Weifengchuxiao” project is located, is expected to grow in popularity with first-purchasers (*) because of further projected development and the area’s convenient access to the Changchun International Airport.
