In 2017, Marubeni acquired Creekstone Farms Premium Beef, an American processor and seller of premium black angus beef.
Since 1988, Marubeni has cultivated and sold beef through its Australian subsidiary company, Rangers Valley.
Demand for premium beef in emerging economy countries is expected to rise in the coming years, and Marubeni will take this opportunity to expand its business.
Using two major beef production countries, the US and Australia, as bases of operations, Marubeni will enter into the growing premium beef market with its own brand of premium beef.
