On July 1 2021, Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter, "Marubeni") was selected as a DX-Certified Operator  under the DX Certification System established by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

The DX Certification System is a system under which the government certifies companies that comply with the basic items of the "Digital Governance Code" based on the "Act on Facilitation of Information Processing”. It indicates that Marubeni is a business entity that is ready to promote DX by utilizing DX strategies and a promotion system that have already been formulated, based on changes in the social and competitive environment.

As stated in the Announcement of Marubeni DX Strategies on February 25 2021, Marubeni has announced the Marubeni Group’s Digital Transformation Strategies and will continue to promote these strategies as an integrated group.
