Marubeni Corporation (“Marubeni”) has been selected for inclusion in the FTSE4Good Global Index Series, a global index that includes any companies meeting specific Environment, Social and Governance criteria. This is the 14th consecutive year that Marubeni has been selected for inclusion since September 2002.

 

The FTSE4Good Global Index was developed and established by FTSE Russell, part of London Stock Exchange Group. In selecting the constituent companies, evaluators assess candidates based on criteria pertaining to Environment, Social and Governance measures. This time, a total of 823 large and mid cap companies (of which 160 are Japanese) were selected globally.

 

Marubeni will continue to gain the trust of all its stakeholders and aim to become a sustainable company and contribute toward the growth of societies by making efforts to solve social and environmental issues at the same time as increasing its competitive power.
