The status of Marubeni Corporation ("Marubeni") has been renewed as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World, one of the best known ESG investment indices* in the world, for the 11th consecutive year.

The DJSI World evaluates companies for a high level of sustainability based on the three principal criteria of “Economy”, “Environment” and “Society”, as well as criteria specific to each company and industry.

This year 317 companies (320 companies in the previous year) from the largest 2,500 all over the world were selected for the index, including 34 Japanese companies (31 companies in the previous year).

Marubeni will continue to aim toward sustainable growth by making efforts to engage stakeholders.
